Theres not much value you can get out of an expired car seat.. until now! Target is running a promotion from now until September 28th where you can trade in your old or expired car seat and get a 20% off coupon for a new car seat, stroller, or lots of other baby related items!
Here’s how:
Step 1: Bring an old car seat or base to a nearby Target and drop it in the designated box inside the store between 9/15—9/28.
Step 2: Scan the QR code on the box, then tap “Add to Target Circle Bonus.” Talk to a Team Member in Guest Services if you need help.
Step 3: Your bonus will be in your Wallet in the Target app. The bonus will stay in your Wallet until you use it twice or it expires on 10/12.
Step 4: Your bonus can be applied to your next qualifying purchase & can be redeemed twice. Stack the bonus with other offers for more savings.

What type of car seat qualifies for a trade in?
Target will accept and recycle all types of car seats, including: infant car seats, convertible car seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats, as well as car seats that are expired or damaged. Guests will receive a 20% off Target Circle™ Bonus for trading in any one of these items.
Where do I bring my old car seat to trade-in?
Car seats can only be traded in at a Target store. Target will have drop-off boxes for guests’ unwanted car seats located near Guest Services.
Exclusions:
The 20% will not work to purchase a Wonderfold, Doona, or items sold and shipped by Target Plus and clearance.
