If you are still looking for tickets to Israel from the NYC area for Sukkos, its not too late! I think its safe to say that booking direct isn’t an option at this point, unless you want to pay over 7 grand for a flight:

The good news is, you can still book with stopovers. Here’s a great option that I found.

You can get a flight from EWR-ATH (Newark-Athens, Greece) With either Emirates or United on Sunday October 13th.

The Emirates flight will cost you 30,000 points which you can transfer from American Express, Citi, Chase, Capital One, all at a 1:1 ratio. Or the cash price as of the time I’m writing this is $561. See below for reference:

From there you can take a Monday flight to TLV for as low as $82 with Arkia!

If you can book the fist flight with miles, your total for both flights would be equivalent to $436! If you book the first flight with cash your total would be approx $643.

Sounds better than $7,000?
