Starting May 7th, 2025, travelers flying within the US won’t be able to use your standard drivers license to fly anymore. You will need either a REAL ID license or a Passport. So if you aren’t interested in carrying your passport around with you on a domestic trip, make sure to apply sooner than later for a REAL ID license, as appointments are getting booked up.
